Google Review Sussex Foot Centre

Plantar fasciitis is the most common condition patients bring to the clinic. It can cause pain anywhere from soreness when waking up first thing in the morning to debilitating pain that prevents people from going into work.

Now as we have discussed in previous blog posts, the plantar fascia should be measuring no more than 4mm in thickness. The patient in question measured 1cm 4mm. Now, this might not sound like much but within the intricate foot architecture, a 1cm difference is massive!

On Saturday 10th August I carried out a steroid injection under ultrasound guidance and most importantly under anesthetic, and therefore was completely pain-free. This technique of carrying out the plantar fascia injection under anaesthetic is something that I have been doing for the last few years and it makes for a much better patient experience.
Please try not to listen to people saying how painful a heel injection is, Sussex Foot Centre’s are completely pain-free.

Where was I?

Back to the point… I carried out the injection on the 10th August and now the patient is pain-free based on her review!
